If you have an idea about Visual Studio, you are the right person!

The working time is flexible so that you can fit it to your university time table.

If you know Visual Basic, it would be perfect, but it is not obligatory.

Typical tasks:

• Digitalization and automation
• Robotics and 3D printing
• Manufacturing of milled and turned parts
• Control cabinet assembly, from start to wiring and test runs
• Writing PLC and display programs
• Working with visualization programs
• Creating project documentation

 

Training duration: 3.5 years (can be shortened to 3 years)

 

Training in school: 1x per week in Kleve

 

Supplementary courses on various training contents and preparation for intermediate and final exams at “Kisters-Stiftung” in Kleve

Typical tasks:

• Sample preparation as powders, pellets or fused beads
• Production of special glassware
• Testing of laboratory equipment
• Quality control of chemicals
• Measurement of samples using X-ray fluorescence technology
• Documentation of test and analysis results
• Laboratory data processing

 

Training duration: 3.5 years (can be shortened to 3 years)

 

Training in school: Berufskolleg Krefeld/Uerdingen (approx. 3 blocks per year, duration 4 - 5 weeks each)

 

Additional internship days in Krefeld to get to know other areas of work relevant to the exam and to prepare for the exam

• Professional advice and support for customers
• Order processing
• Order picking of goods
• Bookkeeping
• International contact with customers and suppliers
• Sales and marketing

Training period: 3 years (can be shortened to 2.5 years)

Vocational school: 2x per week in Goch

Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, location: Mönchen Gladbach

Description:

The internship will consist in the enhancement of the current Fluxana powder dosage algorithm to support different powder materials for further implementation in the BORAMAT. By utilizing ROS (Robotic Operating System) and Moveit (Motion Planning Framework) together with the Niryo Ned2 robot.

 

Learning Objectives:

• Acquired knowledge about different powder materials behaviour.

• Enhancement of the current Fluxana powder dosage algorithm.

• Powder dosage integration on BORAMAT Process.

 

Desirable prerequisites:

• Basic Linux: navigation of Linux filesystem; creation of files; how to manipulate and edit a file, execution and permissions of files.

• Object-Oriented Programming: Python is preferred.

• Basics of Communication Protocol: TCP/IP, Modbus, Server/Master communication.

• GUI: It’s good to know how to make programs with a user interface (Python-Tkinter is preferred)

• Basic Physics and Math knowledge: kinematics, Probability, linear algebra and analytic geometry.

• Basic electronics: Electronic Components, digital logic, motors (e.g. stepper motors) and sensors.
