Proficiency Test / Round Robin for Iron Ore - RV-2021-01
The new round robin includes the analysis of an iron ore. Accredited and non-accredited laboratories with sufficient experience in X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) have the opportunity to participate. We recommend XRF as the preferred analysis method.
Registration deadline for the proficiency test is May 31, 2021.

The new VITRIOX® ELECTRIC 4+ combines great throughput with the highest degree of precision in XRF fusion.
Cleverly incorporating an autosampler, intelligent software and several sample stations, the machine is able to operate continuously and work on up to 16 samples – waiting for samples to cool is a thing of the past! Furthermore, each set of four samples can be processed for different applications.

The current round robin includes the analysis of two cements. Accredited and non-accredited laboratories with sufficient experience in X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) have the opportunity to participate. We recommend XRF as the preferred analysis method.

We have extended our range of certified reference materials (CRM) by two new refractory materials:CRM FLX-139 is an aluminum oxide; CRM FLX-140 a zirconium oxide. Both materials contain various traces, including CaO, Cr2O3, Fe2O3, HfO2 and many more.
